Hello and Welcome to Family and Kids Care Foundation Inc.
Family and Kids Care Foundation Inc was established in 1992 for the disadvantaged in the community in need of a wide variety of Social Welfare Services. These services include practical and emergency assistance, accommodation support and crisis care as well as the provision of support and educational/skills development programs aimed at helping people to help themselves. The Foundation was set up to empower people in the community with knowledge, skills and resources to become active and self-fulfilled members of the community for themselves and future generations because with knowledge comes strength.

Our Vision Statement
Family and Kids Care Foundation Inc aims to develop and provide a wide range of Social Welfare Services to individuals and groups who find themselves in need.
Support Programmes
Services include practical and emergency assistance, accommodation support and crisis care as well as the provision of support and educational/skills development programs aimed at helping people to help themselves.
Our Other Services
Financial assistance: (Rent, electricity, gas, pharmaceutical, school uniforms, books) and telephone accounts (Telstra Vouchers). Subject only to when funds become available through emergency relief.
Counselling: Couples, children at risk, youth in crisis, drug and alcohol abuse.

EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION
Homelessness
Homelessness is a growing concern for all age groups. Whether it is males, females, families, youth or people from different cultures. When you don’t have a roof over your head, all aspects of life suffer, including health, well-being, job prospects, self-esteem and self-worth. Homelessness has reached epidemic proportions in South-East Queensland.
THE HOPE CENTRE – is an integral part of this and is an essential service.
Welcome To The Hope Centre
The Hope Centre is an initiative of Family and Kids-Care Foundation Inc, is an emergency (crisis) accommodation and has nineteen (19) self-contained units. The Hope Centre was purposely built with versatility to accommodate individuals and small families who are homeless.
The Hope Centre is part of a restoration and recovery program and provides help and support by looking for long term sustainable housing. Education in the form of Life Skills will be taught to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
The Hope Centre was established and financially supported by the federal government, the Walter Campbell Trust, The Family and Kids Care Foundation and the ongoing support of Queensland businesses.
